Senator Harradine moved an amendment, viz: Leave out all words after ""That'', insert ""this Bill be referred to a Select Committee for inquiry and report upon the provisions of the Bill and matters relating thereto, including matters raised during the debate in the Senate on the Bill''.

Senator Harradine's proposed amendment lapsed for want of a seconder.
