FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND DEFENCE--JOINT COMMITTEE--CHANGE IN MEMBERSHIP

The President informed the Senate that he had received a letter from the Leader of the Government in the Senate requesting that Senators Kilgariff, Martin and Young be discharged from further attendance on the Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence, and nominating Senators Bjelke-Petersen, Hill, Martyr and Teague to be members of the Committee.

The Minister for Social Security (Senator Chaney), by leave, moved--That Senators Kilgariff, Martin and Young be discharged from further attendance on the Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence and that Senators Bjelke-Petersen, Hill, Martyr and Teague be appointed members of the Committee.
