Senator CROSSIN (8:48 PM) —I do not want to waste the Senate’s time this evening by going over a series of platitudes, because it is clear that this government does not listen and certainly does not want to work cooperatively with Indigenous people. I would like to spend some time drilling down into the detail of the legislation. I would like clarification on a number of questions. Could you clearly explain to me what the role of the business managers will be in the communities and how they will intercept, work with or replace the CEOs of community councils?
