Senator ABETZ (Minister for Fisheries, Forestry and Conservation) (12:44 PM) —We have, I think, about 45 seconds left in this debate. In the time available can I thank honourable senators for their contribution. I will commence the summing-up speech. The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Heritage Protection Amendment Bill 2005 [2006] reflects the Australian government’s commitment to protecting Australia’s heritage and ensuring that Australians benefit from appropriate international cultural exchanges.
