Senator ELLISON (Minister for Justice and Customs) (11:18 AM) —As I said, the prosecution would follow the normal course the law takes, and that would involve the Director of Public Prosecutions. As Senator Faulkner has said, that would involve a public interest test. I can confirm that and I do.


The TEMPORARY CHAIRMAN (Senator Bolkus)—The question is that opposition amendments (7), (8), (11), (14) to (18), (21), (22), (26), (27), (32), (36) and (38) on sheet 2764 be agreed to.
