Senator BARTLETT (Leader of the Australian Democrats) (6:00 PM) —by leave—Earlier in the matter of urgency debate, amongst other things that I said which were entirely appropriate I suggested that Senator Abetz was misleading the Senate with his comments this morning when he corrected the Hansard use of the comment `Prime Minister Muppeteer'. I accept his assurances that he did not make that comment. As I was the person asking the question at the time, I certainly heard something that sounded similar to that, but I have no reason to suggest, other than that it was in the Hansard, that it was Senator Abetz who made the comment. Therefore, I am quite happy to withdraw the statement that I made and any reflection it may have had on Senator Abetz.
