Motion (by Senator Schacht) agreed to:
That the following bills be introduced: a bill for an act to amend the Trade Practices Act 1974 to enable the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission to undertake representative actions, and for related purposes; a bill for an act to amend the Trade Practices Act 1974 in relation to mergers in regional markets, and for related purposes; a bill for an act to amend the Trade Practices Act 1974 in relation to unconscionable conduct, and for related purposes; a bill for an act to allow State and Territory laws to operate concurrently with the Trade Practices Act 1974 and a bill for an act to allow franchisees in the petroleum sector to purchase fuels for re-sale from a variety of sources.

That these bills may proceed without formalities, may be taken together and be now read a first time.
