Senator Chris Evans asked the Minister for Family and Community Services, upon notice, on 17 June 1999:

What is the number and proportion of total enrolments in long day care for the following groups: (a) child with disability; (b) parent with disability; (c) referred because child at risk; (d) Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander; (e) non-English speaking background; and (f) no special needs. [Can the data be provided for the Commonwealth, with sub-totals for each state and territory, and sub-totals for private and community-based long day care.]
