(Question No. 1370)


Senator Woodley asked the Minister representing the Minister for Human Services and Health, upon notice, on 4 May 1994:

  (1) What is the percentage and number, on a state by state basis, of non-government nursing homes for aged people which have been validated with respect to all NH20 and 1986/87 NH19 forms submitted by such establishments.

  (2) Has the department commenced any actions under section 61A of the National Health Act 1953 in relation to failure to keep proper records.

  (3) What is the amount, on a state by state basis, of any negative adjustments made for years validated since 1986-87.

  (4) What is the breakdown of the above information between for-profit and non-profit establishments.
