Senator CROWLEY (Minister for Family Services) (4.51 p.m.) —In a number of ways. Partly it is a changing of attitude and climate, and partly it is because—to give the sentence that seems to be missing from the argument here—no matter what age women are, the great majority are better off financially when they are working than when they are on a pension. So those women who, because of our changed climate, feel encouraged to take up training or get into work and then stay in work are better off.
