Senator CHAMARETTE —I give notice that, on the next day of sitting, I shall move:

  That the Senate endorses the views of the Minister for the Environment, Sport and Territories (Senator Faulkner), when he said during his State of Environment Reporting address, `In my view there is only one prudent way to interpret the moratorium clause. Old growth forests and wilderness "that are likely to have high conservation value" should not be logged until assessments are complete'.
