Senator Bell asked the Minister representing the Minister for Human Services and Health, upon notice, on 9 May 1994:

  With reference to a matter of possible breaches of the Tobacco Advertising Prohibition Act 1992 which was raised by Senator Bell in the Senate in February 1994 and which was based on photographic evidence supplied in November 1993, has the advice of the Director of Public Prosecutions been sought; if so, when was advice sought, and what was the response and when was it received.


Senator Crowley —The Minister for Human Services and Health has provided the following answer to the honourable senator's question:

  No, the advice of the Director of Public Prosecutions has not been sought.
