  The ACTING DEPUTY PRESIDENT (Senator Colston)—The President has received a letter from Senator Kemp proposing that a definite matter of public importance be submitted to the Senate for discussion, namely:

  The Prime Minister's failure to acknowledge that the Australian Constitution was written in Australia by Australians and for Australians and his continuing distortion of Australian history in an attempt to advance his radical plans to tear up our national symbols and to overturn our constitution.

I call upon those senators who approve of the proposed discussion to rise in their places.
