Senator TEAGUE —by leave—I present to the Senate the following petition, from 524 citizens in South Australia, which is not in conformity with the standing orders because it is not in the correct form, and which is the same as the petition I referred to on 1 June from over 1,000 citizens concerning the allocation of funding to residential hostel accommodation in aged care services:

Honourable the Members of the House of Assembly in Parliament assembled

re Southern Districts War Memorial Hospital McLaren Vale South Australia

"We the undersigned residents of the catchment area served by the Southern Districts War Memorial Hospital incorporated at McLaren Vale, South Australia seek the support and agreement in principle of the Federal and State Governments in the following".

to allocate funding for Residential Hostel Accommodation in Aged Care Services to be established at the Hospital as a priority for the financial year 1994/95 in the Government's program of "Care Services for Older People".

The Willunga Local Government Area currently has no Hostel Accommodation Facilities, and is serviced inappropriately with residents having to leave the district for hostel accommodation and care.
