Senator BELL —I give notice that, on the next day of sitting, I shall move:

  That the Senate—


    (i)notices sent to all electors of Braddon by Mr Chris Miles, MP,

    (ii)that, while Mr Miles is on record as opposing the responsibility of the Federal Parliament to legislate on issues of fundamental social justice in relation to the rights and privacy of homosexual people, he is prepared to use federal resources in support of a campaign of bigotry and misinformation, and

    (iii)the contradictory positions between the Coalition's education spokesperson and the Coalition leadership on this issue; and

  (b)calls on the Federal Government to introduce legislation without delay to override State laws that criminalise private homosexual acts.
