Senator MacGIBBON —by leave—The Australian beef industry is very grateful for that increase of 13,000 tonnes but it is either ignorance or wilful misrepresentation for Senator Collins to contribute all of that to what Senator McMullan did in Marrakech. The facts are that the complexities of the beef trade between Canada and the United States is the principal ideological factor in that increase coming about, not a tete-a-tete in Marrakech between Senator McMullan and the delegate from Canada. I happen to know that because I was in America a couple of weeks ago and went through the full background of it.
