Senator CROWLEY (Minister for Family Services) (5.21 p.m.) —I further add that sometimes the requirement is to confirm compliance with the requirements under the legislation which are the responsibilities of various practices. In a sense, to seek a warrant to confirm compliance would be almost out of kilter. One of the other requirements that this stage of the legislation deals with is the compliance factor, and it seems quite appropriate to do it this way, and perhaps quite inappropriate to seek warrant powers to check compliance.
