Senator CROWLEY (Minister for Family Services) (12.43 p.m.) —The content of the Aboriginal Land (Lake Condah and Framlingham Forest) Amendment Bill 1994 has been adequately referred to by my opposition colleague. As he has said, it does ensure that future mining on Aboriginal land in the Lake Condah and Framlingham Forest area will be carried out in accordance with current Victorian legislation. It is a technical amendment to make sure that those procedures are appropriate. I thank my colleague for his contribution and commend the bill.

  Question resolved in the affirmative.

Bill read a second time, and passed through its remaining stages without amendment or debate.
