Senator BELL —I give notice that, on the next day of sitting, I shall move:

  That the Senate—

  (a)views with increasing concern the level and nature of commercial sponsorship of public education in Australia;

  (b)notes that:

    (i)such sponsorship is spreading cancer-like through all states, and

    (ii)its prevalence is directly attributable to cuts in education resources promoted by the Federal Labor Government; and

  (c)calls on the Minister for Employment, Education and Training (Mr Crean) to undertake an audit of the nature and purpose of each sponsorship deal currently in place.
