Senator COULTER (12.35 p.m.) —The second lot is a set of amendments around clauses 50 to 54 which were presented to me by an officer somewhat late in the day. Again, I have had a briefing from the minister's staff. I shall speak to these when we get to those clauses and make several points and, hopefully, adduce some undertakings from the minister, but not actually proceed with that second page of amendments as amendments to this bill.

The TEMPORARY CHAIRMAN (Senator Colston)—Senator Coulter, at this stage you have indicated that you are not proceeding with 2, 3 and 4 relating to clause 6.

Senator Schacht —The Australian Democrats have some further amendments, which we have accepted subject to some minor redrafting.
