Senator BROWNHILL —I give notice that, on the next day of sitting, I shall move:

  That the Senate—


      (i)that, in the week beginning 1 May 1994, Australia will host three separate trade missions and delegations from Singapore, Thailand and ASEAN countries, and

      (ii)that South East Asia is becoming an increasingly significant market for Australia and that the visits this week indicate that the desire for closer trade links is strengthening on both sides; and

    (b)welcomes the officials arriving in Canberra this week and wishes them well for their trade discussions.
