Senator BOLKUS (Minister for Immigration and Ethnic Affairs and Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for Multicultural Affairs) (11.27 a.m.) —In a situation where people come and seek refugee status or use words that would reasonably be seen as seeking refugee status, then their rights continue. If a person comes here and does not even mutter the word, or anything like it, obviously we will not go through this process.
