Senator GARETH EVANS (Minister for Resources and Energy)(11.20) —Yes, it will be part of their normal functions to do just that. There will be other people doing it as well. We envisage a pretty extensive program over that five-year period. Yes, ANPWS officers will be physically on the ground keeping track of what is going on and if there is any suggestion at all that something is not according to Hoyle I expect they will be on the ground in a very conspicuous and omnipresent way. There is certainly that intention; it is not a matter of just delegating authority to the Northern Territory Department.
