Senator WATSON —by leave-I would not like the opportunity to pass without making some acknowledgment of Senator Don Grimes's contribution to the State of Tasmania, which he represents in this place. Although I have frequently been the recipient of his very cryptic remarks, I must say that as a neighbour along the corridor on the second floor at 46 St John Street, Launceston, I have found him and his staff very good neighbours indeed. They have certainly looked after the interests of their constituents well and, in doing so, have helped advance the interests of the State of Tasmania. It is fitting that such a large number of his staff, both from Canberra and Launceston, should be present in the galleries today. On my own behalf and on behalf of my wife Jocelyne, I take this opportunity of wishing him good health and success in his new career.
