Senator SHEIL —My question is addressed to you, Mr President, and it concerns the letter you circulated to senators last week expressing concern about payment of Commonwealth Parliament Refreshment Rooms accounts. In view of the fact that the Joint House Department has also sent round circulars about payment arrangements, would it be possible for you to table in the Senate, after one month's grace from today, the names of those members and senators, present and past, whose accounts are outstanding, with the amount owing and the duration?

The President —The Speaker and I are examining the situation at the moment. Some steps have been taken which have been reasonably successful. We are looking at a number of measures and I hope to be able to make a statement here very shortly.
