The PRESIDENT —I inform the Senate that I have received the following letter, dated 18 March, from Senator Parer:

Dear Mr President

Pursuant to Standing Order No. 64, I give notice that today I propose to move-

`That in the opinion of the Senate the following is a matter of urgency:

The need for the Government to take immediate action to ensure that Australians have genuine freedom of choice, without coercion, to join, not to join or to resign from a trade union.
