To the Honourable the President and members of the Senate in Parliament assembled. The petition of the undersigned citizens of Australia respectfully showeth:

That the Australian Bill of Rights will do nothing to advance the rights of Australians, because it is dangerously ambiguous and will cause confusion within the legal system; it endangers our Federal system; and, it is to be administered in an authoritarian manner inconsistent with the present legal rights of all Australians.

Your petitioners therefore pray.

That the Senate rejects the Australian Bill of Rights Bill and all cognate Bills.

And your petitioners, as in duty bound, will ever pray.
