Senator ARCHER(11.47) —I was in the chamber when this debate started, when the two Government senators decided to make their statements. They both announced to the Senate that they were reading from statutory declarations, sworn declarations and so on. At the conclusion of the speeches when the papers were put on the table I thought it was quite reasonable that I should inspect them to make sure that they were what they were purported to be. They clearly were not. What we in the Senate had been told was clearly incorrect. I picked them up to make sure that they were all the same. There was not a statutory declaration amongst them. Accordingly, if the purported documents are about, I invite the honourable senators to table them.
