The DEPUTY PRESIDENT —The President has received the following message:

The House of Representatives requests that the Senate will give leave to Senators Archer, Black, Cooney and Vigor, members of the Joint Select Committee on Telecommunications Interception, to attend, if they think fit, to be examined as witnesses, and give evidence before the House of Representatives Committee of Privileges.
