Senator POWELL —My question is addressed to the Minister representing the Prime Minister. In light of recent comments by the Director of the Institute of Family Studies, Dr Don Edgar, that employers have a responsibility to consider the needs of the families of their employees, can the Minister inform the Senate whether the original plans for the new Parliament House, which did not provide for child minding facilities, have been changed to make such provision?

Senator BUTTON —I do not know. I will obtain an answer as soon as possible to that question.
