Senator GARETH EVANS (Minister for Resources and Energy)(11.14) —As to the former part of the question on withdrawal, I do not believe that there has been any formal withdrawal; but only a very limited number of these things were produced on an experimental trial basis. I think that speaks for itself in terms of the fate of them. As always, I will draw Senator Walters's remarks to the attention of the Commission. It may seek to take some further action in response to her remarks. Then again, it may not. But I will make sure that it is aware of what she has said.

I will have to take on notice the question of what particular costs are incurred. We are not talking about little kids of five and six years of age.

Senator Walters —Yes, we are.

Senator GARETH EVANS —I am just told that we are not. I will treat it as a question on notice and give her an answer. It is something which obviously could have been more appropriately raised in the Appropriations debate than in the hopefully dying stages of this one. I just do not have the officers beside me who have the detailed information to hand. It is difficult to do it in the course of this sort of debate. We will do our best to find out. I will address myself specifically to answering the question about the target age groups and so on so that we will have dealt with all aspects of Senator Walters's question.
