Senator LEWIS(9.59) —I understand that, as you say, they run like mad and are able to get through their work much more quickly than perhaps would have been anticipated when the award was fixed. My understanding is that some of these people have other positions. Some of them may even have positions with the Public Service. I also understand that a large number work two shifts. In other words, they are able to get through two rounds of garbage collection and so, instead of receiving $370 per week, they are receiving twice that amount, $740 per week. Would those people be entitled to six months' long service leave at the end of fifteen years' service? In other words, was their claim in the recent dispute that not only should they be entitled to two salaries but also they should get two lots of long service leave?
