Senator BROWNHILL(9.12) —Why is it that it takes so long for research to flow through to the end user? There is a delay of up to two years in respect of some of the research which has been done in the field. It does take quite a long time to flow through to the end users and I would like to know the reason for that.


Senator Walsh —What sort of research?


Senator BROWNHILL —Research into bloat control, for example. Bloat is something that cattle suffer from if they eat in pastures that are high in legumes.
