Senator PETER RAE(5.37) —I conclude by thanking the Minister for his assistance in answering my many questions. I just said to my colleague Senator Peter Baume that the material I have in front of me is enough to have kept me going for another two or three days. I realise that we do not have the time for that. I make that indication to give some idea of the amount of interest shown and the inflow of information available to anyone who shows any interest in the affairs of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Whoever is in government and whoever is managing the ABC should anticipate that when matters come before the Senate and Senate committees there will continue to be a lot of material upon which questions are asked. I have done an edit job and have shortened my questions as much as I could. I have raised a few cross-section examples, but there are a lot more that I have not raised.
