Senator JESSOP —I direct my question to the Minister for Finance. No doubt he has noted the Prime Minister's comments regarding Caucus changing its mind and, in particular, his remark that 'Caucus has been known to change its mind on some matters. They used to have a view on uranium once.' Is the Minister confident that he will be as successful in persuading his Caucus colleagues to agree to tertiary fees as he was in obtaining agreement to the Cabinet position on uranium?

Senator WALSH —I am not going to express confidence or lack of confidence in anything. Senator Jessop quoted the Prime Minister's words. I am not sure what the Prime Minister had in mind, but I will see whether I can find out whether he has anything to add to it or whether there is anything he wants to clarify.
