Senator COLLARD(5.26) —I still stand by the necessity for four growers on an eight-man board. I point out to the Minister, despite his eloquence, that we are standing by our decision because there is a cost involved in increasing the size of the Board. We are talking about an industry that is going to decrease in size over a period. As I indicated in my speech at the second reading stage, the Corporation is fully funded by levies from the growers and we see no necessity to expand it. If there is a necessity to bring in extra expertise at times, it can always be brought in to deal with a particular marketing situation, without having extra full time members. I stand by what I indicated in the first instance.
