Senator VANSTONE —My question is to the Minister representing the Leader of the Government in the Senate. Has the Government had an estimate made of the cost of the coming tax summit? If so, what is the total estimated cost? In particular, what amounts are estimated to be incurred to cover: firstly, the production and distribution of papers for consideration by participants, including the cost of any consultant authors; secondly, any travel, accommodation and living expenses of participants; and, thirdly, any overtime and casual employment of staff in servicing the summit?

Senator GRIMES —I have none of the information requested by Senator Vanstone. I will have the question put on notice and get such information as is available as soon as I can.
