Senator COLLARD(9.23) —As I have indicated, these amendments are in line with what the Opposition is after. Amendments Nos (3), (4), (5) and (6) are consequential upon each other. Amendment No. (7) is different. Yesterday the Parliamentary Counsel made an admission that it was a mistake. It is not often that we get such an admission from him, and he cannot defend himself either. It is a mistake that has been picked up. The Opposition does not oppose the amendments. I might add that my amendments Nos (4) and (5) seek to insert new sub-sections (1A) and (1B). It would make sense to deal with amendments (3) through to (7).
