Senator KNOWLES —Can the Minister representing the Minister for Defence inform the Senate of the costs of providing security measures at HMAS Stirling naval base in Western Australia during the women's so-called peace camp demonstration from 1 to 15 December 1984? In particular, can the Minister provide information as to the cost of the use of Navy buses to transport naval personnel to and from the base through the demonstrators' picket lines, and the cost of wages, including overtime, for Australian Federal Police involved in controlling the demonstration?
