Senator TOWNLEY(6.44) —I also add my endorsement of everything that has been said tonight about Frank. I have always found him to be a very pleasant chap, and one who is easy to get on with. I never knew where he was going to send me and sometimes I would end up in very funny places, while my luggage would end up in worse places. But I am very grateful to Frank, because at one stage I was able to be the transport officer for Tasmania. Recently he visited Tasmania and I had the privilege of lending him a car which my father had used when he was alive. As my father got older, he tended to run into more lamp posts and trees, so it was a pretty battered car. I insured it well and lent it to Frank. Unfortunately, he brought it back in one piece. The car was running better than ever after he had taken it beyond the city limits, which nobody had ever done. But I did not tell him that when I lent it to him. It was good to be able to do something for Frank after all the things he has done for my relatives and me, and I thank him very much.
