To the Honourable President and members of the Senate in Parliament assembled. The humble petition of the undersigned citizens of Australia respectfully showeth:

That we express our concern for the future of our nation's character, faith, morals and social services in:

(1) The Australian Broadcasting Commission's resolve to grant homosexual employees practising sodomy and employees who live in de facto marriage relationship such allowances and benefits as are similar to married employees.

We are concerned that the acceptance of such relationships is against the guidance of Almighty God and formulated decisions upheld in our long British heritage and Australian society and as being against the true welfare of the people of Australia.

(2) We express our concern as to this Parliament's decision to recognise de facto relationships as being an equivalent to the state of marriage with full entitlements pertaining thereto.

We raise to question the validity to such relationships in (1) and (2), in that it is illogical argument to deduce that licence can be given to acts of abomination (sinfulness) on the grounds of discrimination.

Your petitioners therefore humbly pray that the Government reject such proposed laws and benefits pertaining from them.

And your petitioners as in duty bound will ever pray.
