Senator TOWNLEY —I give notice that, on the next day of sitting, I shall move:

That the Senate, aware that the Federal Government's proposed Bill of Rights will give the Federal Government extremely wide powers at the expense of States' rights, is of the opinion that the Federal Government should table the proposed Bill prior to the 1984 election, so that those interested in the protection of their State can examine the implications of the legislation.
