The PRESIDENT —On the subject of Question Time, I want to make a short observation. I know that we are all entering an election period and I understand the desire of Ministers to give the Parliament an account of their stewardship. But I remind them that Question Time is the time when the voice of backbenchers is to be heard in the Parliament. Therefore, I ask both those asking questions and those responding to them to restrict their remarks as much as possible so that everyone can get a better go at Question Time.
