Senator PETER RAE —Mr Deputy President, I claim to have been misrepresented. Senator Jack Evans attempted to suggest that in my comments I was opposing the automotive plan. What I indicated was that the Opposition supported the general thrust of and the need for a plan, and indicated that we did not deem it necessary to have a corporatist body sitting over the top of it. That was the Opposition's concern with the matter. To have the matter misrepresented in the way that it was can cause unnecessary alarm and concern among people associated with the industry. I want to make that point quite clear . It has already been made clear in previous speeches and I make it again.
