Senator CRICHTON-BROWNE(11.25) —Mr Deputy President, I claim to have been misrepresented. The Attorney-General (Senator Gareth Evans) described the Liberal Party in a collective sense as, on more than one occasion, having supported simultaneous elections and, on other occasions, having opposed them. In the collective sense, that is inaccurate. I have always opposed simultaneous elections, and I want that fact to be recorded appropriately.
