Senator KILGARIFF —I give notice that, on the next day of sitting, I shall move:

That the Senate deplores the decision of the Federal Government to withdraw funds for the planning and construction of the Alice Springs to Darwin rail link about which, despite the findings of the Hill Inquiry, there is much evidence indicating that the project should proceed in the interests of national development and security.
