Senator GRIMES (Minister for Social Security)(9.45) —I have no worry about echoing the words of Senator Chaney in that area. I can assure Senator Chaney that that will be taken into account. There is no intention of having junior, inexperienced or poorly authorised people to act in this regard. My only remark is that if we take the example of Queensland, many people who are authorised to operate on behalf of the Aboriginals in that State should never have been so authorised. It also has applied in other States. I accept that that is a responsibility that government must accept.
