I ask: Would a decision by the biannual conference rejecting the position adopted by the Government in Caucus with respect to the mining and export of uranium require the Government to change its announced policy in favour of that adopted by the annual conference?

Senator BUTTON —If such a decision were arrived at, that would be a matter which the Government would have to consider at the appropriate time, which is not now.
