Senator DURACK —by leave-That is a disappointing response from the Government. I know that this matter is being dealt with on a formal basis because of the time constraints, but those constraints are being imposed upon us because the House of Representatives seems determined to get up tonight. It is important that the House of Representatives should deal with this matter before it gets up tonight. The message will be conveyed promptly to the House of Representatives because of the way the matter has been dealt with and I hope that the Government in the House of Representatives will respond and return its message to us, so that when we sit next week we can decide what action we will take in this place in the light of that response.
