Senator GEORGES(5.40) —Since I spoke previously I have been able to refer to the Clerk of Estimates Committee F. I owe Senator Townley an apology. Some questions of the Department of Aviation have not been answered. Of the mass of questions that were asked at the Committee hearing only a small number remain to be answered. As Chairman of the Committee I suggest to the Minister for Veterans' Affairs (Senator Gietzelt) that unless those answers are before the Senate before it gets up next week, or in sufficient time for the Committee of the Whole to consider the answers to those questions in some way, I would have no option but to recall the Estimates Committee and the Department. There appears to be no excuse for those half a dozen answers not to be before the Committee at this time.
